Sales Trainee (Account Manager)

Locations: Colfax, NC; Greenville, NC; Richmond, VA

Schedule: Monday - Friday

As part of Air Liquide, a global leader in gases, technology, and services, Airgas serves industries including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, energy, hospitality, and food service.

The Sales Trainee will undergo an accelerated training program to develop professional selling skills and industry knowledge. Upon successful completion, the trainee will assume an Account Manager role.

Training Program Focus

1. Learn the business and develop sales skills: safety compliance, online and classroom training, industry and product knowledge, sales skills development, and observing sales processes.
2. Apply knowledge practically: travel within territory, develop and execute customer growth plans, manage accounts receivable, communicate with internal teams, and develop sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of industrial and specialty gases is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
