Role Overview: Under general supervision, develop industry-specific knowledge and experience for promotion to Outside Sales Representative. This role may involve rotating through various departments to observe, learn, and perform responsibilities related to industry knowledge, processes, and sales techniques.

  1. Receive training and perform duties in areas such as yard operations, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, and inside sales while learning the outside sales role.
  2. Accompany Outside Sales Reps or Sales Managers on customer calls to learn effective sales and customer service techniques.
  3. Assist with inside sales responsibilities, including answering phones and taking orders.
  4. Support outside sales activities, such as performing take-offs, processing orders, obtaining signatures, and making sales calls to customers.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field, plus 0-2 years of industry operations or sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
