Job summary

Groundworks, North America’s leading foundation repair and water management specialist, is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support the Branch Sales Manager and champion key initiatives for sales productivity.

You’ll help develop strategies, lead a team of Outside Sales Representatives, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute to achieving sales and company goals within an employee-ownership culture that values ownership and growth.

Qualifications

• In-home sales experience preferred, but not required.
• 2-3 years of experience leading a team of sales individuals.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, humility and desire to build an industry-leading sales team.
• Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower teams to achieve objectives with a strong team focus.
• Superior knowledge of sales techniques.
• Highly organized and efficient.
• Dedication to providing great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist to ensure the sales team provides a thorough, effective and professional presentation to each customer.
• Assist in the training and development of Outside Sales Representatives to meet individual, branch and company sales targets.
• Assist to ensure team possesses product knowledge, understanding of marketing techniques and the ability to relate to customer needs.
• Conducts ride-a-longs with Outside Sales Representatives to improve techniques and processes.
• Assists in handling customer concerns.
• Leads by example and represents the brand with confidence and professionalism.
• Runs warm leads and prospects own book of business.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
