Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Davidson, NC is seeking a Full Time Customer Solutions representative to provide exceptional customer service and sales support for internal and external customers.

You will handle calls, emails, orders, returns, and product inquiries in a fast-paced environment, using MSC tools to enhance the customer experience and drive value. A minimum five years of customer-facing experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least five years of customer service or customer facing experience preferred.
• Fast pace call center experience with upsell/cross sell preferred.
• MRO industry and/or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support to internal and external customers, delivering a value-added experience.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and service requests in a fast-paced call center environment using support tools.
• Process orders, expediting, returns, and resolving basic product questions.
• Follow work instructions and ISO process documentation as required.
• Strive to meet or exceed phone-related performance metrics to support department service levels.
• Participate in project work, create daily reports, and maintain standard work files.
• Resolve customer complaints via phone or email.
• Adhere to phone scripts and participate in monitoring and coaching sessions.
• Attend departmental and team meetings.
• Help drive MSC culture and participate in special projects as needed.
