Job summary

Ferguson in Dayton, OH is seeking a hands-on Sales Support Representative to help customers and learn the business from the ground up. You will partner with Sales associates to recommend products and ensure accurate quotes and orders.

Starting pay is $21 per hour, with hours Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Role includes warehouse, yard, and counter duties and requires strong customer service skills and basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Qualifications

1–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
Waterworks or construction environment experience is a plus.
Warehouse experience is preferred.
College degree preferred.
Ability to upsell and respond quickly to customer needs.

Responsibilities

Support Sales associates to determine best products and solutions for customers.
Provide timely quotations and accurate sales orders to ensure personalized service.
Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
Answer sales calls and resolve customer questions or concerns.
Learn and use CRM and phone systems; work in warehouse, pipe yard and at the sales counter.
