Job summary

Intertek in Boxborough, MA is seeking a Sales Specialist to support the outside sales team on the Electrical line. The role offers exposure to a broad range of industries and a path to grow a versatile sales career within a global quality assurance leader.

You will process quotes and orders, respond to inquiries, assist with proposals, and collaborate with customers and operations to ensure a superior experience. Travel may be required as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Prior experience in sales or administrative support
• Adherence to safety practices and policies
• Ability to handle fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines
• Detail oriented with strong time management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Provide support for outside sales team
• Process and manage quotes and orders efficiently
• Respond quickly to quotation requests, leads, and inquiries

• Collaborate with customers and operations to ensure great service
• May conduct client research, prospecting, and networking
