Currently, the company has an excellent opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative at our corporate headquarters in Wheeling, IL.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer accounts to increase customer satisfaction, gross margin, and sales.
  • Handle customer requests including quotes, orders, follow-up, and delivery information.
  • Resolve customer issues, issue credits and debits, and authorize return goods.
  • Communicate customer requirements to Operations & Engineering.
  • Monitor price inventory agreements.
  • Support members of the outside sales team.
  • Collaborate well in a team environment to resolve customer issues.
  • Communicate issues and problems with management promptly.
  • Maintain high attention to detail.
  • Keep detailed documentation to support decisions and ensure service continuity.
  • Process a volume of orders ranging from 50-75 larger orders with multiple line items.
  • Work on the Power Transmission Team serving international and domestic clients.
Hours

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Skills & Qualifications
  • 2 years of manufacturing sales support or customer service experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience managing product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Order entry experience.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • QAD software experience.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be contingent on specific elections, plans, or program terms. Eligible benefits may include:
