About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Specialist, Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) to support some of the company's largest and most strategic global customers. This role acts as a trusted commercial partner to Global Strategic Account Directors, enabling them to focus on executive relationships, long-term growth strategies, and business expansion initiatives.
This position is often described as the "Chief of Staff" to the Global Strategic Account Director. The Sales Specialist serves as the operational quarterback responsible for coordinating customer requests, managing sales processes, maintaining pipeline integrity, supporting proposal development, facilitating order execution, and aligning internal stakeholders to ensure customer success.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Support
- Partner closely with Global Strategic Account Directors to support complex customer relationships and growth initiatives.
- Act as the primary commercial support resource for assigned global accounts.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure customer commitments are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Serve as a professional customer-facing representative for account-related inquiries.
- Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and operational discussions.
- Prepare customer-specific reporting, metrics, proposals, and commercial documentation.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management
- Maintain CRM opportunities and ensure pipeline accuracy.
- Support forecasting activities and pipeline reviews.
- Track deal status, risks, and milestones throughout the sales cycle.
Proposal & Quotation Development
- Create, revise, and manage CPQ-based quotations and proposals.
- Coordinate approval processes and deviation requests.
- Ensure pricing, configurations, and commercial terms meet customer and company requirements.
Order Execution & Administration
- Oversee order entry and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate handoff to Order Management and Project Execution teams.
- Support change order processing and customer communication.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Technical Teams, Product Strategy, Finance, Order Management, and Project Execution teams.
- Influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization without direct authority.
- Drive timely resolution of customer and operational issues.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, commercial execution, account coordination, customer success, or related customer-facing roles.
- Experience working within CRM systems and understanding the importance of pipeline management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including filtering, lookups, reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting strategic or enterprise accounts.
- Experience with CPQ, CRM, ERP, Oracle Sales Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to proposal development, commercial operations, order management, or sales enablement.
- Experience supporting technical products, industrial solutions, infrastructure, manufacturing, data center, or technology-related industries.
