Job summary

Supermicro's Sales Support team is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to assist one of our Sales teams in managing customers and orders. You will act as a liaison across internal departments and provide product information to customers, handling daily sales order processing and data entry.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of direct sales support experience, strong communication and data-entry skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• AA degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of direct, related sales support experience.
• Experience in data entry, scheduling production and tracking orders.
• Strong communication skills including phone, written/email and presentations.
• Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly; must have problem-solving skills.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs.
• Strong computer skills with Word and Excel; excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales account maintenance and providing technical/administrative product information.
• Process daily sales orders and data entry; monitor ETA with purchasers.
• Coordinate between sales, purchasing, production, procurement and logistics.
• Assist with intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
• Communicate with clients about order status; handle credit issues and returns negotiations.
• Build strong customer relationships and produce daily client reports.
• Act as back-up for supervisor and team members.
• Take on additional duties as requested by supervisors.
