Job summary

Eagle Distributing in Nebraska is seeking a Sales Support Manager to coach and train the sales and merchandising teams, ensuring they meet or exceed standards while supporting the Sales Manager. The role includes developing weekly merchandising and events plans and growing staff into future sales roles.

Responsibilities include scheduling, ride-along adjustments, dashboard tracking, and leading team meetings to drive market initiatives and customer satisfaction across six warehouses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or equivalent training and work experience in Sales or Business.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, or retail management.
• Ability to use a tablet, computer, and merchandising and sales software.
• Ability to coach and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop a weekly merchandising and events schedule.
• Adjust daily schedules for relief, line cleaning, merchandising or events.
• Ensure merchandising and flex reps follow processes and ride-along schedule.
• Utilize systems and dashboard tracking.
• Train new employees on sales and merchandising functions.
• Schedule and manage daily duties for the support team.
• Ensure routing plan is being followed.
• Schedule and conduct team communication meetings.
• Prepare and conduct performance evaluations.
• Attend weekly team lead and sales meetings to plan market initiatives.
• Meet or exceed customer merchandising and special event standards.
• Plan implementation of resets for geographic areas.
• Oversee line cleaning and on-premises support staff.
