Job summary

Eagle Distributing is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Grand Island, NE to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and staff performance. You will lead a team of warehouse technicians, loaders, validators, and receivers to ensure accurate receiving, efficient load building, and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven ability to develop staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of general management experience and/or 4 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, loading, and product verification.
• Coach, lead, and develop warehouse team members to improve productivity and performance.
• Perform regular performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback to employees.
• Conduct team meetings and safety trainings to ensure company safety standards are maintained.
• Review and respond daily to company communications and technology platforms including email, Trello, Slack, and other systems.
