Job summary

AC Photonics, Inc. in Santa Clara seeks a Sales Support Administrator to drive back-office operations for our client-facing teams and ensure smooth order processing.

Reporting to the head of Customer Experience, you will handle purchase orders, amendments, RMAs and inquiries while maintaining confidentiality, promoting an inclusive culture, and supporting the sales team with documentation and follow-ups to meet performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, an Associates degree, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of sales support, customer service, or data entry experience.

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues.
• Process all customer purchase orders, order amendments, work orders, purchase requisitions, shipping documentation, and RMAs.
• Be the point of contact for clients to answer general enquiries via phone, email, and text including order issues, scheduling, and corrective actions.
• Support the sales team with documentation, customer follow-ups, and general administration work.

Our rapidly expanding advanced photonics design and manufacturing company needs the skills and drive of a Sales Support Administrator who is looking to further their career at one of Silicon Valley’s most exciting companies to work at. The successful candidate will take the helm of executing all back office functions of our client facing teams.

The candidate will report to, and work closely with the head of Customer Experience to achieve the company’s desired metrics. The position is based out of our Headquarters in Santa Clara.

• Process all customer purchase orders, order amendments, work orders, purchase requisitions, shipping documentation, and RMAs.

Our requirements (to be considered you must have):

• A High School Diploma / GED, an Associates degree, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of sales support, customer service, or data entry experience.

Critical success factors (we’ll give strong preference to those who have):

• Direct experience in Telecom, automotive, industrial, or medical verticals.
• In technical sales support, project management administration, or direct customer-interactive technical support for engineered products or services.
