Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to back the sales team across the solar process. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a growing channel.

The ideal candidate will handle inbound/outbound calls, document customer interactions, and schedule technician appointments, contributing to efficient order flow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience as a Sales Support Specialist or similar role.
• Minimum 1+ years previous experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Solar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues presented by the sales representative or customer during a phone call.
• Responding to inbound phone calls from sales consultants as well as other forms of communication in a timely manner.
• Utilize and adhere to all tools, policies, and rules that are provided and mandated by management.
• Schedule appointments with customers for technicians to move the account through the solar process.
• Strive to improve performance by utilizing self and Team-lead evaluations.
• Properly documenting all verbal and digital correspondence relevant to the customer account.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Support Specialist to support business-critical operational tasks for the sales team. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude under pressure. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Resolve issues presented by the sales representative or customer during a phone call

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
