Job summary

Bornquist in East Moline, IL is seeking a Sales Administrator to support Inside Sales by preparing submittals, quotes, and project information. You will manage literature, registrations, and CRM updates to ensure accurate order entry and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and fast follow-up with customers while coordinating across departments and vendor inputs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 months related experience or training.
• Associate's Degree preferred; 6 months to 1 year related experience acceptable.
• Proficient with Prophet 21 by Epicor; training available.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic internet usage.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Review orders before release to ensure contract components, pricing, approvals, and documents are complete.
• Manage quote requests and distribute to Inside/Outside Sales or Estimators.
• Follow up with customers to determine quote status.
• Oversee literature inventory and distribute to customers when needed.
• Handle registrations for classes and seminars via supplier portals.
• Update CRM with Opportunities, Tasks, and Activities, attaching quotes and docs.
• Collect submittals and IOMs from vendors and distribute to customers.
• Monitor sales email and allocate tasks as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
