Job summary

General Motors is seeking motivated students for the Sales Internship Program for Summer 2027. This 12-week, full-time, project-based internship supports the Sales organization across regional and headquarters teams, analyzing market and sales data to identify opportunities and develop recommendations that drive sales effectiveness.

Interns may be placed within Cadillac, Buick GMC, or Chevrolet, with start dates in May or June 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
• Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for 12 weeks.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional and headquarters Sales team members to collect, analyze, and interpret current sales and market information.
• Identify key drivers of sales effectiveness using market analysis.
• Build standardized sales-effectiveness reports and develop recommendations.
• Support Sales Operations with current business needs and project deliverables.
• Present solutions and recommendations to Sales leadership with confidence and clarity.
• Learn and apply new skills and technologies to increase sales impact.
