Reporting Line

This position reports to the Regional President of Large Motors & Generators.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market/division, aligned with the division strategy. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities.

The work model for this role is: #LI - Remote

This role contributes to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in the US.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Selling products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote understanding of ABB's offerings, and align solutions.
  • Preparing sales plans using authorized tools, conducting regular reviews, and proposing recovery plans if needed.
  • Creating value through successful transactions, contracts, and proposals, communicating delivery, payment, and terms effectively.
  • Supporting marketing activities and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, supporting data collection, project management, and preparing offers in coordination with relevant departments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 5+ years of related experience.
  • Previous sales and account management experience.
  • Familiarity with Sales Force.
  • Willingness to travel 30-35%.
  • Must already have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
