Regional President of Large Motors & Generators

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services within a designated market/division, aligned with division strategy. Your daily tasks will include achieving sales targets to ensure sustainable growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will identify and develop new sales opportunities.

The work model for this role is: #LI - Remote. This role contributes to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in the US. Your main accountabilities include:

  1. Selling products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  2. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote ABB's offerings, and align solutions.
  3. Preparing sales plans using authorized tools, performing regular reviews, and proposing recovery plans if needed.
  4. Creating value through effective sales techniques, communicating delivery, payment, and terms details.
  5. Supporting marketing activities and identifying new market opportunities.
  6. Managing administrative procedures, supporting data collection and project management, and preparing offers with the bid and proposal team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Previous sales and account management experience.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Travel requirement: 30-35%.
  • Must have work authorization for the US.
