Job summary

Brembo North America in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Sales Support specialist to provide a variety of support to internal and external customers within the business unit. You will manage quotes, track prototype orders from issuance to invoice, and serve as liaison with plant accounting to resolve delivery or payment issues.

The role also handles contract management, pricing files, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overdue collections.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of a manufacturing environment (machining and assembly)
• Experience in the automotive industry

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and engineering support for quotes and orders
• Process, track, and maintain prototype orders from issuance to invoice; liaise with plant accounting and customers
• Manage contracts, pricing, capacity, and terms; organize pricing and capacity files
• Prepare analyses and reports; support budget and forecast activities
• Coordinate purchase orders and requisitions in MS AX; track quotes and meetings; file agreements and quotes
• Lead resolution of overdues and AP issues; focus on EBIT and customer relationships
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

Provide a variety of sales support to internal and external customers within the business unit. Utilize and maintain all processes and documents required for the efficient operation of the Sales Department.

DUTIES

• Manage Sales and Engineering requests for quotes process
• Process, track, and maintain prototype orders from issuance to invoice. Serve as liaison for plant accounting, internal staff, and customers to resolve delivery, billing, or payment issues
• Process, track, and lead to closure customer obsolescence, expendable packaging, overtime, customer owned tooling, and other collections
• Manage contracts (pricing, capacity, terms, APR’s, etc), issue approved NTR’s, and organize pricing/capacity files
• Prepare and perform analysis or provide other support in varied capacities in an error-free and timely manner
• General support duties include coordinate customer purchase orders, enter purchase requisitions in MS AX, track prototype orders, coordinate meetings, file agreements and quotes, etc
• Prepare and distribute reports
• Support budget and forecast activities
• Lead resolution of overdues and A/P issues
• Focus on EBIT and strong customer relationships
• Other duties as assigned
