Job summary

AJIN Georgia seeks an entry-level logistics coordinator to support production planning, inventory management, and warehousing in a manufacturing setting in Georgia. You will reconcile bills of lading with customer deliveries, monitor shipment progress, and coordinate with the in-plant 3PL dispatcher to ensure on-time order fulfillment.

You will analyze demand data, manage transportation schedules, prepare reports, and assist with SAP modules between sales and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with minimum 3 years experience in production planning, inventory management, warehousing or logistics in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Windows Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with ERP Systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

• Reconcile Bills of Lading with customer delivery confirmations to ensure accurate shipment records.
• Manage overall delivery progress in accordance with the customer’s production plan.
• Communicate with the in-plant third-party logistics (3PL) dispatcher throughout the work shift to provide updates and input on shipment priorities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Conduct daily analysis of customer demand data, transportation dispatch schedules, and production output to ensure operational efficiency and alignment.
• Manage Daily/ Monthly transportation and sales closing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate the delivery of returned orders from customers.
• Generate a daily shortage report and spreadsheet forecasting shipping quantities by analyzing current inventory, scheduled production, and customer demand.
• Manage the loading process of short quantities to ensure complete and accurate customer order fulfillment.
• Prepare and post on-site notices for team members.
• Prepare material for customer correspondence.
• Purchase supplies for the Sales Department.
• Review shipping dock and sales floor inventory layout on a quarterly basis.
• Develop and improve the shipping and SAP modules between the sales department and the customer.
• Create a summary of daily and weekly transportation issues.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, warehousing, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Windows Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Experience with ERP Systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Korean and English preferred, not required.
