Job summary

AJIN Georgia Co., Ltd. is seeking an entry-level Production Assembly Team Leader (Hourly) to supervise and train a production team in Statesboro, GA. You will manage attendance, enforce safety, and ensure accurate inspections and reports to support daily goals.

The role emphasizes organizing workflows, coordinating with a line keeper and forklift driver, and maintaining production records in a conditioned work environment. Competitive hourly wages apply with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attendance: track daily absences and tardiness of team members.
• Assignment: ensure staff are working in designated areas.
• Check production orders and ensure inventory of required subparts and CKD parts.
• Complete inspection sheets and downtime/work reports accurately.
• Manage line keeper and forklift driver for inventory flow.
• Control WIP and finished goods circulation on pallets.
• Enforce 3C and 5S workplace standards.
• Monitor welding tip and ATD blade conditions and inspect regularly.
• Inspect sensors and verify detection distance when needed.
• Oversee daily equipment checks performed by team members.
• Manage first/middle/last inspection processes by staff.
• Oversee consumables and PPE stock and usage.
• Support activities as directed by supervisor and managers.

Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

• Membership and team member training management..
• Quality and productivity management.
• Support and prepare safe, productive operation.
• Proper completion and filing of essential reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Attendance : Track daily absences/tardiness/leaving early of assigned team members.
• Assignment : Enforce company policy of having assigned members “working” in the assigned/designated work area.
• Check production order and ensure inventory of necessary sub, CKD, press parts to achieve daily goal.
• Properly complete and file 1st, middle, last inspection sheet, downtime reports, and work reports.
• Manage line keeper and forklift driver to ensure inventory of sub, CKD, press parts and feeding main/sub lines.
• Control circulation of WIP and finished goods pallets.
• Enforce safe operations and 3C 5S applied work environment.
• Manage welding tip conditions, ATD blade conditions, and inspect them regularly.
• Inspect, verify, and adjust sensor detecting distance (when necessary).
• Control daily equipment check performed by team members.
• Manage 1st, middle, last inspection process performed by team members.
• Manage all necessary consumables including markers, blank forms, PPE, sealants.
• All other support activities outlined by supervisor and production specialist, manager, and senior manager.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

• High School diploma / GED
• Experience in supervising group members.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organizing and executing plan skills.
• Able to grasp productivity, quality, and defective work results.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination.

Organizational Relationships :

• Accountable to the supervisors or specialists for all phases of activities.
• Advises, consults, and coordinates with:
  • New Production Team Member
  • Current Production Team Member
