Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounting, finance, inside sales or related field is required.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).
• Familiarity with USMCA, FTAs or automotive/regulatory surveys preferred.
• Strong analytical and data reconciliation accuracy.
• Clear communication with sales, accounting and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Sales & Payment Reconciliation between sales and payments.
• Invoicing and quotations for delivered goods and services.
• Compile and submit regulatory surveys and filings (USMCA, AALA, US Content, CAFE, FTA, SPCA).
• Track Purchase Orders and manage retroactive pricing adjustments.
• Use advanced Excel to build models and streamline reporting.

Job description

This position is within the Sales Department at Pacific Manufacturing Ohio, Inc., a tier-one Japanese automotive supplier serving companies such as Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, and Honda since 1988. As a Sales Specialist, you will manage critical financial reconciliations, customer invoicing, order tracking, and regulatory trade compliance surveys. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounts receivable foundation, proficiency in handling complex retroactive pricing adjustments, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to ensure seamless sales-to-finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly Sales & Payment Reconciliation: Analyze source data to identify discrepancies between sales amounts and incoming customer payments. Balance accounts monthly to ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
• Invoicing & Quotations: Generate and issue accurate customer quotations and timely invoices for delivered goods and services.
• Trade & Regulatory Compliance: Compile, complete, and submit required customer surveys and regulatory filings, including USMCA, AALA, US Content, CAFE, FTA, and SPCA documentation.
• Purchase Order & Retroactive Pricing Management: Track and manage updated Purchase Orders from customers; calculate, issue, and reconcile retroactive debit and credit adjustments.
• Data & Operations Support: Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities to build models, reconcile accounts, and streamline sales operations reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in accounting background: Educational or professional background in Accounting, Finance, Inside Sales or a related field is required.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, logical formulas) and functional expertise across the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
• Trade & Regulatory Knowledge: Prior experience handling USMCA, FTA, or automotive/manufacturing compliance surveys is strongly preferred.
• Analytical Precision: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail in data reconciliation.
• Communication: Clear communication skills for effective coordination with sales teams, accounting departments, and customer representatives.
