Job Description

Sales & Showroom Manager

AES Hearth & Patio is a leading retailer of Alternative Heating, Custom Fireplaces, and Outdoor Living Products, offered from various manufacturers. We have showroom locations in Camp Hill, Burnham, and Newville, with an extensive Service & Installation Department in Newville and Burnham. This new role is for a new showroom in Chambersburg, to be completed by September.

We work with a diverse customer base, and as our business grows, we are looking to add a new member to our sales team.

We have an immediate opening for a Sales & Showroom Manager to sell and design Hearth & Outdoor Living products and services, and to manage our new Chambersburg showroom.

This person will…

• train at our Newville and Camp Hill showrooms until the Chambersburg showroom is completed in late August.
• manage a 6,500+ square foot retail store with 2 additional Sales Associates.
• be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals for the Chambersburg showroom.
• follow a structured sales process from greeting to project completion in the client's home.
• handle inside and outside sales and design of Hearth systems and Outdoor Living products.
• sell Accessories & Services offered at AES.
• assist in maintaining showroom cleanliness and organization.

We are looking for…

• a friendly and team-oriented approach.
• excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• attention to detail.
• at least three years of managerial experience in a specialty retail sales & service environment with proven success.
• five or more years of experience as a Sales Associate & Designer in a high-ticket retail or service environment, with notable success.
• design and sketching experience, with home construction materials knowledge.
• experience in hearth and hardscape design and sales, outdoor living products (preferred).
• experience operating a cash register and POS/accounting software accurately.
• proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
