As an Itinerant Liquor Store Clerk 2, travel will be required as needed. Your responsibilities will include leading shifts in a liquor store by assigning, reviewing, and participating in the work of lower-level clerks. You will oversee and engage in customer service, ringing sales on a cash register, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, building displays, and cleaning the store. Additional duties include providing on-the-job training to lower-level store employees regarding store procedures.
As lead, you will also complete accounting and inventory reports and oversee cash management issues on the shift. Recognizing repeat customers and licensees by name and resolving customer service and product-related issues are essential for your part in the customer care our store provides. Routine store duties are performed and directed independently, while you will have the opportunity to seek guidance from a manager or an assistant manager for new or unusual circumstances.
