Job summary

Core-Mark International in Ocala, FL is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support strategic sales initiatives across the assigned region. You will focus on the SmartStock program, merchandising, and building strong customer relationships to drive store performance.

The role requires a motivated individual with 1–2 years in customer service or sales, willingness to travel to convenience stores, and a reliable vehicle. Join our team to enhance product presentation and sales execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support.
