Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring a Sales Service Representative in Marietta, GA. The role supports strategic sales initiatives regionally, focusing on the SmartStock program and merchandising while building strong customer relationships. Travel to convenience stores and customer locations is required.

The position offers Monday–Friday schedules starting at 8am, with pay ranging from $21 to $25 per hour, plus benefits and mileage reimbursement. A valid license and reliable transport are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in customer service, merchandising or sales.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation with mileage reimbursement.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine with a ledger of customers.
• Execute the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, merchandising).
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date codes.
• Address customer needs promptly and professionally.
• Ensure plan-o-gram compliance and proper pricing in stores.
• Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and labeled.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to meet customer challenges and deliver duties.

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
