Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Sales Service Representative in Jacksonville, FL to support regional sales initiatives and SmartStock merchandising. You will build relationships with customers, ensure product freshness, and assist the Sales Team in meeting regional goals.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years in customer service, merchandising, or sales, with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to stores and customer locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent call routine with a ledger of customers.
• Execute the SmartStock program including racks and merchandising.
• Identify and reduce out-of-stock on shelves and keep products fresh.
• Meet customer needs promptly and ensure plan-o-grams and pricing accuracy.
• Spot display opportunities and maximize product placement.
• Collaborate with Sales Team to support regional initiatives.

Position Summary:

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
