Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc invites undergraduates and graduates to a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program, running June through August with up to 40 hours per week. Interns will engage in development workshops, be mentored by managers, and work on meaningful projects across Sales, Account Service, Marketing, Training, and Leadership teams.

The Capstone Project focuses on Sales Effectiveness & Resource Optimization, including evaluating tools, materials, and processes

Qualifications

• Majors/degree programs include Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Psychology, Organizational Leadership.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, employee engagement, sales operations, customer experience or business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support key strategic initiatives across Commercial Markets Sales and Account Service while gaining exposure to health insurance, sales operations, account management, and analytics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Service, Marketing, Training, and Leadership on various projects.
• Contribute to the Capstone Project: Sales Effectiveness & Resource Optimization Initiative, identifying gaps and creating standardized resources.
• Develop a centralized Where to Go For... guide for reports, systems, contacts, and resources.
• Present recommendations to leadership at internship end, including findings and implemented improvements.
