Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. offers a paid 10-week Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns participate in development workshops, receive mentorship, and work on meaningful projects across tracks such as Analytics, IT, Marketing, and Sales.

Interns can work up to 40 hours per week and will complete a capstone project focused on Sales Effectiveness and Resource Optimization, presenting findings to Commercial Markets leadership at term end.

Qualifications

• Majors/degree programs include Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Psychology, Organizational Leadership or similar.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, employee engagement, or sales operations; ability to create presentations and conduct research.
• Enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate program and in good academic standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales and Service Intern activities across Commercial Markets.
• Work with Sales, Account Service, Marketing, Training, and Leadership on projects.
• Lead or assist capstone project on sales effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Develop standardized program overviews, resources, and quick-reference tools.
• Create a centralized where-to-go guide for reports, systems, and contacts.
