Job summary

Pick Your Part Southeast LLC is seeking a customer-focused Associate for in-person sales at its Greensboro, NC location. You will help walk-in customers find exact vehicle parts, process transactions at the front counter, and coordinate parts pulls as needed.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability, with experience in automotive parts and a willingness to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background.
• Effective communication.
• High School or GED preferred; college coursework desired.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
• Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
• Sales: Process cash and credit transactions at the front counter using POS systems.
• Yard Coordination: Coordinate with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers who want parts pulled for them.
• Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain displays of popular parts to drive impulse sales.
• Core & Returns Management: Inspect returned parts to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in customers.

1. In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
2. Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
3. Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
4. Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them
5. Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
6. Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims
7. Assumes other duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• To perform this job this job successfully, an individual must have a strong customer service background.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• High School or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred. College coursework desired.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.
