  • Develop and implement account strategies to grow profitable business, strengthen customer relationships, and increase market position and share throughout the Great Lakes region.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities by introducing innovative products, chemical applications, and tailored solutions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage designated customer accounts and develop long-term commercial partnerships based on trust, value creation, and a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of paper manufacturing facilities, including production operators, technical personnel, purchasing teams, and mill managers.

  • Proven ability to establish trust-based relationships with key buyers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers within industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of paper manufacturing processes and the chemical applications used throughout production.
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate the financial impact of technical solutions, including documenting and presenting ROI for new and existing applications.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, sales reporting, demand forecasting, and commercial performance monitoring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a technical and commercial environment.
  • Experience in large account management, particularly accounts generating $5 million or more, is highly desirable.
