Job summary

Oliver Fire Protection & Security is seeking an Inspection Repairs Salesperson to join our Sprinkler Service Department. You will develop and maintain client relationships, prepare accurate proposals from inspection documents and field surveys, and manage sold projects while identifying additional fire protection solutions.

You will travel locally to meet customers, interpret plans and specs, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver complete, competitive bids and expanded services for

In this role, you'll develop and maintain client relationships, prepare accurate proposals and estimates from inspection documents and field surveys, manage sold projects, and identify additional fire protection solutions that enhance customer safety, compliance, and long-term value.## What You'll Be Doing* Develop new client relationships to increase sales volume among construction managers, property management firms, subcontractors, and industrial, commercial, and institutional customers, in accordance with corporate guidelines.* Meet or exceed established goals, develop strategies, and organize personal activity to achieve short-range and long-range territory business objectives.* Maintain client relationships using multiple customer engagement strategies to expand the customer base and increase sales volume.* Interpret inspection documents, plans, and specifications to prepare complete and explicit proposals that accurately define estimated costs.* Conduct necessary building surveys, review field installations, and identify potential challenges to gather the information needed for accurate job estimates.* Prepare complete and explicit proposals and bid clarifications that provide an accurate, detailed scope of work and exclusions.* Research and determine the need for subcontractors and obtain competitive quotations to produce complete and competitive bid proposals.* Project manage sold jobs and coordinate manpower and materials with the internal team.* Identify opportunities to expand services by assessing customer needs, evaluating existing fire protection systems, and recommending additional solutions that enhance safety, compliance, and long-term value.* Matriculate through the training program as outlined by the Service Sales Manager.## Qualifications## What We're Looking For### Required* Strong mechanical aptitude* PC skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office* Willingness to travel locally to make sales calls* Valid driver's license and clean driving record### ### Preferred* Four-year college degree* Minimum of two years of sales experience* Experience reviewing inspection documents, plans, specifications, field installations, or customer needs## What We Offer* Competitive compensation based on experience, education, and certifications* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* Life and long-term disability insurance* 100% company-funded profit-sharing program* Professional development opportunities* Supportive team-oriented environment## Why OliverWe're proud of the culture we've built at Oliver.
