Job summary

Eagle Chevrolet in Riverhead, NY is hiring a full-time automotive salesperson to help customers select new and pre-owned vehicles, present features, and close sales. You will build relationships through in-person visits, phone calls, and internet leads, responding quickly to inquiries and scheduling appointments.

You’ll work with the sales and finance teams to complete transactions, deliver vehicles, and explain warranties and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs and budget.
• Build relationships with customers in person, by phone, and via internet leads.
• Respond promptly to leads and schedule appointments.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Close sales and overcome objections.
• Follow up with leads, appointments, and prior customers to drive repeat business.
• Maintain customer information in the CRM and update records.
• Partner with sales management and finance to complete vehicle transactions.
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork.
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned vehicles that meet their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Build relationships with customers in person, by phone, and through internet leads
• Respond promptly to leads and schedule appointments
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
• Overcome objections and close sales
• Follow up consistently with leads, appointments, prior customers, and unsold prospects.
• Maintain customer information and activity in the CRM
• Partner with sales management and the finance team to complete vehicle transactions
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service
• Follow dealership policies and applicableNew York State and federal automotive sales laws

Experience That Transfers Well

Automotive sales experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
