Job summary

Dixie Building Supply Co Inc is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to engage with telephone and walk-in customers and guide them through the purchasing process. This role focuses on building relationships and using strong communication to convey the benefits of our products and services.

You will identify offerings that meet customer needs, contribute to the company’s success, and work with lumberyard and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Above average Math skills.
• At least two years related experience in Construction/ Metal Roofing Industry.

• Provide excellent customer service to all walk-in customers.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of Construction and/ or Metal Roofing Industry
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in an inside sales role or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds at times.
• Must be able to learn and/ or perform on all software required in Sale Department
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to use telephone/ cell phone to communicate with customers
