Job summary

Dixie Supply in Theodore, AL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to guide customers through the purchasing process, both by phone and walk-in. This role builds relationships, explains product benefits, and helps identify customer needs within the metal roofing/construction sector.

You will work to ensure accurate orders, delivery details, and secure payments, while collaborating with lumberyard and manufacturing staff to better serve customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction and/or metal roofing industry.
• 2+ years experience in sales/inside sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in an inside sales role or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma
• Above average Math skills
• At least two years related experience in Construction/ Metal Roofing Industry

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds at times.
• Must be able to learn and/ or perform on all software required in Sale Department
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to use telephone/ cell phone to communicate with customers
