Job summary

Dixie Supply in Theodore, AL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to guide customers through the purchasing process, both by phone and walk-in. This role builds relationships, explains product benefits, and helps identify customer needs within the metal roofing/construction sector.

You will work to ensure accurate orders, delivery details, and secure payments, while collaborating with lumberyard and manufacturing staff to better serve customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction and/or metal roofing industry.
• 2+ years experience in sales/inside sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospects to ensure repeat business.
• Provide excellent customer service to all walk-in customers.
• Ensure order accuracy, delivery information accuracy, and secure payment.
• Maintain relationships with lumberyard and manufacturing staff to better service customers.
• Stay up to date on software and required technologies used in metal roofing/construction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
