- This is a full-cycle sales role responsible for business development, account management, and revenue growth. The successful candidate will own customer relationships from prospecting and qualification through quotation, negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management. The role also serves as the primary commercial liaison between customers and internal teams including production, quality, logistics, and finance.
- This position requires regular travel throughout North America for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events, with travel expected to be up to 50%.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities among solar module manufacturers and related accounts
- Develop and execute territory and account growth strategies
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry outreach
- Build, maintain, and expand long-term customer relationships
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance targets
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, quoting, negotiation, and closing
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing recommendations in coordination with leadership
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing agreements
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities
Customer & Technical Engagement
- Understand customer requirements and align product capabilities with customer needs
- Coordinate sample requests, product qualifications, and technical support activities with internal teams
- Represent SUNELEC at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and site visits
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned account
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with production, material control, logistics, and quality teams regarding lead times, capacity, and delivery schedules
- Work with finance on payment terms, credit management, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Communicate customer forecasts and market intelligence to internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate CRM records, customer data, and sales activities
- Track pipeline performance, customer opportunities, and sales forecasts
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to leadership
- Maintain organized account documentation and customer communications
Qualifications
Required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial products, technical products, or related industries
- Demonstrated success managing a complete sales cycle and achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Experience selling into the solar, renewable energy, manufacturing, or industrial supply chain sectors
- Familiarity with photovoltaic module manufacturing, interconnect materials, or related components
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales reporting tools

Compensation & Schedule
- Base salary of $50,000 per year
- Additional commission based on sales performance
- Full-time, onsite position based in Richardson, Texas
