DB Wine Selection in Fairfield, CT, is seeking an experienced Fine Wine Sales Representative who knows the CT market and has strong relationships with restaurants, sommeliers, wine directors, and retailers. The role focuses on building a premier portfolio with emphasis on European producers and artisanal options.

The ideal candidate will manage both on-premise and off-premise accounts, conduct tastings and staff trainings, and drive growth within the territory.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of wine sales experience in Connecticut preferred.
• Existing relationships in Fairfield (restaurants, retail) highly valued.
• Understanding of CT compliance and pricing environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Fine Wine Sales Representative to join our growing Fairfield, Connecticut team. The ideal candidate will have significant fine wine sales experience and strong, established relationships with leading restaurants, sommeliers, wine directors, and fine wine retailers throughout the territory. We represent an extensive portfolio of highly regarded wine producers, with a strong focus on France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and soon Artisanal Spirits. We are looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven wine professional who knows the CT market and is ready to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of on-premise and off-premise accounts
• Prospect and open new accounts in assigned territory
• Present and sell wines to buyers, sommeliers, and decision-makers
• Execute tastings, staff training, and in-store promotions
• Maintain CRM/activity tracking and provide regular market feedback
• Support brand building initiatives and supplier visits

Qualifications

• 4+ years of wine sales experience in Connecticut preferred
• Strong knowledge of wine (French/European focus a plus)
• Existing relationships in Fairfield (restaurants, retail) highly valued
• Understanding of CT compliance and pricing environment
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage territory efficiently

Compensation

• $80,000 first-year guaranteed salary (Advance Commission )
• Potential to earn $100,000–$120,000+ thereafter based on performance
• 401K
