Job summary

Colonial Life in Baton Rouge is seeking an independent, onsite Agency Development Manager to build and support an independent insurance sales team. This contract role combines recruiting, training, and hands-on leadership with earnings tied to sales performance.

You will recruit and train new sales representatives, assist with interviews, coach prospecting and presentations, and support agents toward meeting sales goals. Compensation reflects commissions and renewal income based on performance.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead sales teams.
• Insurance sales background with a Life & Accident/Health Insurance License, or willingness to obtain one.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently while inspiring teams.

Compensation details

USD 75,000 - 105,000 per year is listed for this contract opportunity. Compensation includes the potential for competitive commissions based on sales results, including renewal income, bonuses, and world-class trips.

Independent contractor note: Any income range associated with this posting reflects potential pre-tax earnings for a business owner in this role, not a guaranteed salary. Earnings are sales results-based, uncapped, and growth depends on your business acumen.
