Job summary

BRT Extrusions, Inc. in Niles, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Sales and Quoting Assistant to join the expanding Quoting department. You will quote projects and manage pricing for new and existing customers under guidance from the Sales Manager and Quoting Supervisor.

The role requires strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, data entry accuracy, and CRM familiarity. 2 years of B2B sales experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow as the company expands its client base.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a business-to-business sales environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems; Zoho or similar is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to quote projects quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on sales inquiries and identify potential customers.
• Research and target prospective accounts.
• Email and call identified prospects using our CRM.
• Discuss requirements with purchasing managers and engineers.
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
• Prepare and submit timely quotes and project proposals.
• Create sales/marketing content for newsletters and social media.

The Sales and Quoting Assistant will enter and track data intoour manufacturing software (CRM). This person will follow up and offer support to answer questionsand/or concerns and work closely with sales to effectively streamline the process and support thecustomer through the close of the sale and beyond.Responsibilities of the Sales and Quoting Assistant:• Follow up on sales inquiries• Research potential customer targets• Email and call identified prospects using our CRM• Speak directly with purchasing managers and engineers• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers• Meet and exceed established goals and objectives• Quote new projects, answer questions pertaining to our products• Complete quotes and project in a timely and accurate manner• Create Sales and Marketing content for social media• Compose Newsletters, flyers, and promotional materialSolid knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• A high degree of personal motivation and drive to achieve short and long-term business andcareer goals/objectives• Strong problem-solving and math skills.• Must have very strong attention to detail and strong data entry experience.• Knowledge of CRMs like Zoho or other Customer Relationship Management Systems is a plus.• 2 years’ experience in a business-to-business sales preferred• Effective relationship building and negotiation skills required• Ability to effectively communicate, build rapport and relate well to a diverse group of customers• Ability to enter data quickly and efficiently and submit quotes to our current and potentialcustomers• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time (customer support/marketing)• Ability to work at a faster than normal pace while still paying close attention to the details.• Must be willing to participate in all required job and or employment related trainings.
