Job summary

SKF is seeking a Sales Quality Engineer in Waukegan, IL to drive customer satisfaction by coordinating complaints, PPAPs, and customer surveys. The role interfaces between customers and SKF’s global factory base and reports to the Sales Quality Americas Manager for North America.

The candidate will lead containment and improvement actions, manage quality reviews, and support continuous improvement projects, leveraging Office 365 tools and data analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Qualified auditor status for ISO 9001:2015 as a minimum.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and customer-facing quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Champion the SKF Group Quality Policy and philosophy.
• Coordinate containment, corrective, and improvement actions for customer complaints and field issues.
• Drive implementation of quality policy and objectives across the organization.
• Manage customer portals and quality reviews with key customers (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere).
• Support PPAP requests and assist in customer surveys and continuous improvement projects.
