Ashley Homestore is now hiring Home Furnishings Advisors at South Hills Village in Pittsburgh, PA. Earn $50,000 to $90,000+ annually with unlimited earning potential through commission and bonuses; first-year earnings average around $50k+.

You’ll build relationships, address customer needs, and help clients design rooms in their homes. Our team values high energy, a customer-first approach, and a passion for interior design.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred; face-to-face experience valued.
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and be coached.
• Sales, upselling, marketing, interior design experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, POS systems.

Job Description/Duties:

• Maximize excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Meets and/or exceeds minimum sales standards and assigned sales goals.

• Maintains ongoing relationships with customers through continued contact.
• Prospects new customers through various networking and clienteling efforts.
• Completes all required initial and ongoing sales training programs and attends required store meetings.

• Adheres to company policies and procedures and performs other duties as required/assigned.
• Communicates with all internal/external customers, clients, management and/or colleagues in a professional manner.
• Works independently and/or cooperatively with others as part of a team.

Skills/Requirements:

• Flexibility/availability to work a retail hours/scheduling: includes days, evenings, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
• Customer service experience (face-to-face preferred).
• High-energy, entrepreneurial and team-oriented people person.
• Excellent and effective communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and the ability to be trained/coached.
• Retail/Hospitality/Service industry experience preferred.
• Any sales, upselling, marketing, interior design experience and/or education preferred.
• Experience and/or proficiency with computerized-based systems and technologies; i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office, POS Systems, digital/mobile devices, etc.
• Ability to meet physical demands and requirements of the position.
• Education: High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and above.
