Job summary

Colder's, an Employee-Owned furniture retailer in Wisconsin, is seeking full-time Furniture Sales Professionals. You will receive comprehensive training and support to succeed while helping customers design rooms they love.

This role offers unlimited earning potential through commission and requires weekend availability. Colder's provides a robust benefits package including ESOP, PTO, 401(k) with match, health/dental/vision, disability coverage, and educational reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous successful experience in sales or customer service preferred but not required.
• Availability to work every weekend and most holidays is required.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and discuss wants and needs to help them design rooms they love.
• Assist customers in creating an enjoyable, well-furnished space for family and friends.
• Explain financing and payment plan options to customers.
• Close sales and ensure customer satisfaction with their purchase.
• Encourage repeat visits and keep in touch with customers.
• Maintain honesty and integrity throughout the sales process.

What you will be doing each day:

• Warmly greet our customers and have a great conversation with them about their wants and needs.
• Help the customer create an amazing room to enjoy with their family and friends.
• Answer any questions the customer has about financing and payment plans.
• Close the sale and assure the customer is happy with their purchase.
• Invite the customer to come back and keep in touch.
• At all times be honest and demonstrate integrity in the sales process.
• Follow up with the customer to ensure they love their purchase.

What you should know about this role:

• This is a commission-based sales position, offering unlimited earning potential based on your performance
• Availability to work every weekend and most holidays is required
