Job summary

Alphatec Spine in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Manager, Sales Operations and Support to enable our global sales force with analytics, forecasting, reporting and strategic initiatives. You will coordinate planning across senior management, Sales, Marketing and Finance, building processes that improve forecasting and drive revenue.

This role leads a team, partners with Sales Ops leadership, and manages data and reporting in SAP, Power BI and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership abilities and strong organization, interpersonal, communication analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrated creative thinking.
• Must have business operations experience, primarily with project management and implementing process improvements.
• Must have experience using analytics to determine root causes and identify solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the sales process and experience working with the field sales organizations.
• This position requires 10% - 25% travel.
• Demonstrated ability in creating a customer focused culture.
• Experience with Microsoft Office with specific expertise using Powerpoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning efforts, aligning Senior Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Support development of Sales long-term strategy including 3-year plans and strategic investments.
• Manage annual business plan process with Business Units and Reps, including templates, targets, timelines, training and tracking.
• Plan, manage and execute Sales monthly and quarterly field communication.
• Assist with development of presentations, including PowerPoint slides, research and analytics.
• Compile materials for meetings and reports; format and present data visually.
• Interact with Sales EVP, Sales Leadership Team, Direct Sales Reps and ATEC Sales Agents.
• Manage data, systems and reporting across SAP, Power BI and Salesforce.com.
• Assist in planning, execution and training of new systems and processes.
• Create, maintain and report on new insightful metrics and analysis.
• Manage Vertical Strategy: identify targets, track performance, drive engagement with Sales team.
• Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews with Sales Leadership.
• Understand policies, advise across the organization, and set priorities independently.
• Coordinate team priorities to align with business goals and revenue targets.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training for new team members within Sales Operations.
• Communicate team updates and key insights to senior leadership.
• Foster a high-performing, solutions-oriented team culture.
