Job summary

Alphatec Spine, Inc. is seeking a Product Marketing professional in Carlsbad, CA to identify and execute product strategies, marketing plans and promotional programs for assigned product lines. You will partner cross-functionally on product development, market launches and forecasting to help meet company goals.

You will design campaigns, develop sales collateral, support field education, and collaborate with sales, operations and finance. Travel up to 40% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• Minimum of 1-4 years of related experience, preferably in the orthopedic device industry.
• 2+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in the medical device or healthcare industry required.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, development, and execution of product marketing initiatives for assigned product lines.
• Manages day-to-day product marketing activities, including idea generation, profiling, training support, and launch readiness.
• Supports product line extensions, labeling updates, clinical evaluations, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Identifies opportunities for product improvements through market analysis and field engagement.
• Develops sales collateral, training materials, and marketing content for field execution.
• Assists in sales forecasting and collaborates with Sales, Operations, and Finance to optimize product mix.
• Travel with field sales, monitor market trends, and support new product launches.
• Interacts with cross-functional teams to ensure strong product support and positioning.
