Leland is hiring a Sales Operations Intern to support our sales team as we scale. You will help build the systems behind our funnel, including automations, lead sourcing, CRM hygiene, and sales reporting.

This hybrid Lehi, UT role reports to Katie Ostberg and suits someone with an engineering mindset who enjoys building scalable systems. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in engineering, CS, or data science with 2027–2028 graduation and comfort with SQL, Python, or JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, data science or related field.
• Expected graduation date 2027 or 2028.
• Comfortable with SQL, Python or JavaScript, or no-code tools like n8n or Zapier.
• Engineering mindset: break problems into steps and build simple solutions.
• Strong attention to detail; data accuracy matters.

Responsibilities

• Build outbound automations in Instantly and inbound workflows in HubSpot for B2B and B2C.
• Own lead sourcing, enrichment, scoring, and routing.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure follow-up tasks are created.
• Track email performance and report A/B test results.
• Create dashboards on pipeline, conversion, and rep performance.
• Learn and work in sales systems like HubSpot, Instantly, AskElephant, Databricks.
• Use AI tools (Claude, n8n) to automate repeatable tasks.
• Support Sales and Revenue Operations projects as needed.
