Job summary

Hussmann, a Panasonic subsidiary, is seeking a Sales Operations Development Professional to join the SODP program in St. Louis, MO. You will rotate through sales, logistics, and operations, supporting customer success and driving process improvement during structured assignments.

The program emphasizes hands-on projects, cross-functional teamwork, and skills in data analysis, reporting tools, and project management. After completion, you’ll be prepared for long‑term roles across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, technical studies, or related discipline preferred.
• 0-2 years related experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Desire for continuous learning and development through cross-training and rotational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotational assignments across multiple Sales and Commercial Operations functions.
• Develop an understanding of the end-to-end commercial process, from quotation development through equipment delivery and customer support.
• Support daily business operations by assisting with sales support activities, order administration, quotation development, logistics coordination, engineering support, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, customer service, finance, and other cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Assist in analyzing operational processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Learn and become proficient in Hussmann business systems, reporting tools, and operational processes.
• Complete and present rotational projects, findings, and recommendations to department leadership.
• Build technical knowledge of Hussmann products, systems, and customer solutions.
