A & D BUILDING SUPPLY INC is seeking a sharp Sales & Operations Manager to optimize workflows, supervise warehouse activities, and drive store revenue. This hands-on leader will own end-to-end order processing, invoicing, and client communication, blending analytical thinking with practical execution on the floor.

You will design cleaner processes, guide a team, and manage contractor relationships to close high‑volume sales, while maintaining accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; related degree is a plus.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability in operations, logistics, or sales workflows.

Responsibilities

We are an expanding interior building materials store looking for a sharp, hands‑on Sales & Operations Manager to optimize operations and drive store revenue.

If you are an analytical thinker who treats business like an engineering challenge—finding bottlenecks, designing cleaner workflows, and leading teams to execute with precision—this role gives you full ownership to build, lead, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Engineering & Client Consulting: Advise contractors and commercial clients on material specifications, prepare precise estimates, and close high‑volume sales orders (flooring, molding, and finishing products).


• Process Optimization: Identify friction points across sales transactions, order fulfillment, and inventory handling; implement structured improvements to enhance operational speed and accuracy.


• Warehouse & Logistics Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, allocate daily workloads, enforce safety standards, and optimize stock flow for rapid order staging and turnaround.


• Operations & Account Management: Oversee end‑to‑end order processing, invoicing, payment reconciliation, and technical client inquiries via phone and email.


• Inventory Control: Maintain systematic stock organization, accurate count cycles, and efficient space utilization within the facility.
