Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee sales support at the branch, train staff on sales systems, process orders, and monitor delivery dates and pricing. The role coordinates between customers, the sales force, and distribution to ensure accurate, timely service.

The incumbent will manage accounts payable, invoicing, inventory levels, and reporting on trends and issues while supervising 5–10 staff. A strong office software skillset and professional work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in managing sales support and branch operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages sales support activities at the branch.
• Trains sales staff on sales systems, databases, and processes.
• Provides customer support including order processing, delivery dates, and price changes.
• Manages accounts payable, invoices, and debit memos.
• Maintains inventory to meet annual turn goals and replenishes stock.
• Generates reports on inquiries, sales trends, customer complaints, and delivery issues.
