Job summary

Textron is offering a 2027 Sales Operation Intern position in Augusta, GA. You will shadow Territory Sales Managers, visit dealers, and build relationships while gaining skills in selling, channel development, and customer management.

The internship provides mentorship, hands-on project work, and development opportunities with flexible scheduling at select locations. It is a paid, full-time summer internship designed to prepare you for future roles within Textron.

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or another related field.
• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office
• Travel Requirements: 15%

Responsibilities

• Shadow Territory Sales Managers in the field and assist with visiting existing dealers and establishing new customer relationships.
• Gain knowledge in the following areas: selling skills, channel development, leadership skills, and managing customers.
• Conduct market research on product offerings and new product technology.
• Offer recommendations on process improvements within the sales organization to increase efficiencies and sales.
• Complete projects as needed demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Build internal network within sales and business functions.
