Job summary

Astrophysics Inc. in City of Industry, California, seeks a Sales Operations Coordinator to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring orders and activities are accurate and efficient.

This role acts as a liaison between Sales and internal departments while maintaining information and coordinating follow-up. You will assist with order status updates, documentation, and coordination across Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Production and Logistics,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 1–2 years in sales support, customer service, or related role preferred.
• Experience with ERP or CRM platforms recommended.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders from receipt to shipment, maintaining records for fulfillment.
• Review POs against quotations to verify pricing, terms, quantities, and configs.
• Prepare and maintain order documentation: quotations, POs, acknowledgments, and notes.
• Coordinate order requirements with Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Logistics.
• Provide timely order status updates to sales reps, customers and internal teams.
• Prepare data for internal meetings, reflecting current orders and priorities.
• Monitor sources for new inquiries and route to the appropriate salesperson.
• Support customer-facing activities by coordinating visits, demos, meetings, and events.
• Track outstanding requests and escalate issues when needed.
